Examples include: database management systems, macros, CASE tools and simple language translators (interpreters and compilers are
not suitable examples in this context), HTML editor, web page
editor, code editor, visual IDE.

As long as you know that what they're talking about in our case is our IDE, Netbeans, you should be able to address questions about this. Though make sure you remember what CASE tools are all about and the general things that they can do - see the text book. Basically you're only going to see expensive software like this at big companies that have lots of programmers working together on large programs.
